Classes will be outside weather permitting in the afternoon. Activities will begin at 12:30pm. Events are: forwards race, backwards race, sack race, crab walk, jump rope until you miss, hula hoop, marathon, tug of war, and bouncy ball. In the event of rain we will be in the gym.
Due to limited seats we will not be able to accommodate parents to join us for these events if it rains.
Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately. Your child may bring a water bottle. Please no spikes or cleats. Students are not permitted to have lunch guests on Olympic Day because we are not able to accommodate the number of guests that day. Classes are encouraged to wear Upstander shirts or Leopard attire.
***If you are taking your child home after the event, please fill out the form (download here) and return it to school.***
Our goal is for all students to have fun and use good sportsmanship. We are not focusing on winners. We are focusing on celebrating your child’s achievements in the classroom with a fun day!
Last Day/Celebrate Success
On the last day of school the children will be enjoying a variety of activities. One of their favorite parts of the last day each year is the inflatables. Every student, preschool through 2nd grade, is required to sign a waiver form permitting them to be on the equipment. Forms were previously sent home. If you need another please send a note in to school with your student.

Imaginations get their rocket fuel at Camp Invention! This summer’s all-new curriculum allows children in kindergarten through 6th grade to experience real-world problem solving and creative thinking as they transform a distant exoplanet, take risks as future entrepreneurs, blast rockets and rubber chickens, and wire a circuit to create their own Spy Gadget Alarm Box! Local educators lead a week of hands-on activities that will launch your child’s imagination. Visit campinvention.org or call 800.968.4332. If you have questions, contact Louisville's Camp Director: Monica Shadle at email@example.com or 330.875.7685.
