Celebrate the Season with Fill the Bucket Week at NN
Our Character Counts word of the month for December is CARING. As we draw closer to the holiday season we would like to have a week at our school dedicated to the giving spirit of Christmas. We would like to celebrate the season of giving and brighten someone’s holiday by filling our buckets with non-perishable food products for the Louisville Community Cupboard.
Please bring canned goods or other non-perishable items throughout the week to make a difference for our community. Our week of giving will begin Monday, December 5th and will run through Friday, December 9th.
Monday, December 5th - Students and staff can wear their favorite workout clothes as we “Exercise our Giving Spirit”.
Tuesday, December 6th - Students and staff can wear their favorite holiday hat or any favorite hat as we “Tip Our Hats to Our Holiday Bucket Fillers”.
Wednesday, December 7th - Students and staff can wear their pajamas to school as we “Dream of a Happy Holiday for All”.
Thursday, December 8th - Students and staff will wear their Upstander t-shirts for “Upstander Day” at NN.
Friday, December 9th - Students and staff will wear our Leopard colors or Leopard outfits as we celebrate “Making a Difference in Our Community” and conclude our Spirit of Giving Week at NN.
The yearbooks are $18.00 each. Final deadline to order is March 3rd. NO extra yearbooks will be ordered. Forms will be sent out for ordering yearbooks soon.

Pop Tab Collections
The Nimishillen Grange is continuing to collect pop tabs for the Ohio State Grange Deaf and Hard of Hearing Committee. The money collected from recycling the tabs goes to several deaf schools in Ohio. Each class is challenged to collect the most tabs. The class with the most pop tabs will win a pizza party sponsored by the Grange. Total sheets are on display at both elementary buildings.
