Halloween Costume Guidelines
Students will be permitted to wear their costumes on Friday, October 27th, 2017, to school. Costumes that include cults, drugs, alcohol, weapons, blood or violence are not permitted at school. Students must participate in their regular day in their costume. Therefore, if a student needs a mask or anything that might be distracting to school for his or her costume, just be sure your child knows to keep it in his/her cubby until the costume parade before Fall Festival. Be sure to consider these guidelines as you decide what costume your child will be wearing this year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
North Nimishillen offers preschool for 3, 4, and 5 year olds (who are not of age to meet kindergarten entrance requirements). Morning and afternoon sessions are available. Classes are five days a week. If you have friends or family with a child who is of preschool age next year please share this with them. Please call the school office at 330.875.2661 today to come in and register!
Free and Reduced Lunch Applications
Free and reduced lunch applications can be requested and submitted at any time throughout the school year - not just at the beginning of the school year. Family situations may change throughout the year, and if your situation has changed and you could benefit from a free or reduced lunch financially please contact the office for an application to be sent home.
Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels
Please save your Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels! When you send them in be sure to trim them as indicated on the side and place them in a baggie with your child’s name and homeroom teacher or affix them to the leopard box top paper. If you have any questions please contact a member of the PTO.
Pop Tab Collections
The Nimishillen Grange is continuing to collect pop tabs for the Ohio State Grange Deaf and Hard of Hearing Committee. The money collected from recycling the tabs goes to several deaf schools in Ohio. Each class is challenged to collect the most tabs. The class with the most pop tabs will win a pizza party sponsored by the Grange. Total sheets are on display at both elementary buildings.
