LCSD Reset-Restart Plan

Louisville Schools are offering two learning formats for students.
1) Return to school in a traditional format, with appropriate safety measures, five days per week. 

2) Online learning option through the Leopard Virtual Academy to families and students who are not able to or choose not to return to the traditional format at this time.

  • August 12 - Senior yearbook photo with Rick Black in high school auditeria, 8:30 am – 12 pm / 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm 
  • August 13 - Senior yearbook photo with Denny Valentine in high school auditeria 8:30 am – 12 pm / 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
  • August 20 - First day of school @ LHS for grade 9 only, Freshman Orientation
  • August 20 - New Student Orientation grades 10-12, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
  • August 21 - All students’ grades 9 – 12 whose last name began with A – L
  • August 24 - All students’ grades 9 – 12 whose last name began with M – Z
  • August 25 - ALL STUDENTS report to school
  • Masks are required and social distancing must be observed.
Parking Pass Sign Ups

Students will be assigned a numbered parking spot when purchasing a parking permit. Permits are $30 for the entire school year. They must be displayed at all times to avoid a penalty. If parking spots remain available after the 1st semester, a permit may be purchased for $15.00.

Students wishing to buy a parking pass for this school year should sign up on (click for link).  There will be 10-minute time slots for a student to sign up for in order to come in a buy a parking pass.  This will limit one student in the office at a time. 

  • Senior time slots will begin on Monday, August 10th and will go through August 12th.
  • Junior time slots will begin on Monday, August 17th and will go through August 19th
  • All other students who are eligible to drive can get their parking pass while in school by filling out an attendance office request slip from their first-period teacher.

All seniors at Louisville High School MUST have their portraits taken by one of the two photographers listed below for the YEARBOOK portrait:

Senior portraits will be taken at LOUISVILLE HIGH SCHOOL on Wednesday, August 12th or Thursday, August 13th from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm.  Senior schedules may be picked up starting on Wednesday, August 12th. (learn more)

Pay to Participate Payments for Fall Sports

We are limited access to the High School due to COVID 19.  We are encouraging PTP payments for fall sports be paid through PaySchools using a credit/debit card or mailing the payment to:

LHS Named US News “Best High School” best logo

Louisville High School was named a Best High School by U.S. News & World Report! The award places Louisville in the top 13% out of the 691 high schools in the state of Ohio. This is the sixth straight year the high school has achieved this prestigious recognition.

Immunization Requirements for Incoming Seniors

Attention all parents of incoming 12th-grade students: 
Immunization requirements for school attendance in Ohio have changed.  All students entering 12th grade in the fall, are now required by Ohio school law to show proof of the following immunization BEFORE starting school (click for details)

Community Committee Reaches Funding Goal for New Scoreboard

Louisville Schools is pleased to announce that the committee working to fund a new scoreboard at Louisville Leopard Stadium has met their goal!  Former board of education member Dr. Michael Thomas spearheaded the initiative, resulting in private advertising partners covering 100% of the cost to replace the 13-year-old used scoreboard and sound system.  Read details here
