On Friday, January 29, 2021, the Louisville City School Board of Education took the final steps to place a five-year 5.9 mill emergency operating levy on the May 4th ballot. After listening to community feedback and much deliberation, the Board decided to reduce the ask. If passed, the district will be able to restore busing, class offerings, field trips, and lower pay-to-participate fees. Passage of the issue will also protect safety and mental health services.
