Summer Reading and Math Intervention

Louisville City Schools is hosting free summer school sessions for all children who have completed kindergarten, first, second, and third grade during the 2019-2020 school year. 

The three-week program will be held Monday-Thursday from July 27 – August 13 at North Nimishillen Elementary School.  Reading instruction will take place from 8:00-10:00 a.m. and math instruction will take place from 10:30a.m. - 12:30p.m. Students who attend both reading and math will need to pack a snack each day.   The district can offer the sessions free of charge due to funding from the Federal CARES act. Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to and from the sessions.

Plans for 20-21 School Year

The Louisville City Schools administrative team continues to work on our plan for the 2020-2021 school year. We will be utilizing the most recent data and guidelines available to us, along with the information from our parent feedback survey. Therefore, our plan will be available later this summer.

Please continue to be patient as we work through the recent guidelines from the Governor’s office given on July 2. Our understanding is that more information from the Governor's office may be released next week. Link to Governor's recommendations
