Leopard Partners Business Advisory Committee
Louisville City Schools recognizes that the relationship between business and organizations and their local school systems can be enhanced by regular open-ended dialogue between the community and educational leaders.
With this goal in mind, the Louisville City School District formed a business advisory committee, Leopard Partners. The role of the Leopard Partners Business Advisory Committee as defined by the Ohio Department of Education is:
I. To advise Louisville City Schools on changes in the economy and job market and the area in which future jobs are most likely to be available;
II. To advocate for the employment skills most critical to business and industry and the development of a curriculum to teach these skills;
III. To aid and support Louisville City Schools by offering suggestions for developing a working relationship among businesses and educators.
Over the past year, the group has learned more about each other, the many opportunities provided to students, and needs of those in Louisville City Schools. Together we are working to ensure that today’s students are better prepared to become tomorrow’s employees, consumers, and civic leaders.
