18-22 - Camp Invention @ LES
Invent the future today! Camp Invention’s all-new summer program, Fast Forward, allows children in grades K-6 to turn their wildest dreams into a reality. Campers will create a vehicle of the future, design a mechanical robot dog, build futuristic dream homes, and make dinos dance using wind-up gearboxes! Local educators lead the week of fun, hands-on, STEM activities that encourage children to think big, explore their curiosity, and never give up. Visit campinvention.org or call 800.968.4332 to register.

For the month of May, no student will be able to carry a negative balance in his or her lunch account. If they do not have enough money to purchase a lunch, they will be given a cheese sandwich and milk for lunch that day. Our kitchen staff sends home notices frequently letting students know their balance. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the kitchen office at 330.875.2661 before 1:30 p.m. on school days.
Please stop in at either North Nim or Louisville Elementary to register your child for kindergarten. Children who will turn 5 on or before August 1, 2018 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten.
Parents registering their children must bring the following: birth certificate, immunization record, child’s Social Security card, two current proofs of residency and custody paper (if applicable). The state of Ohio requires all children entering kindergarten have the following immunizations: five doses DPT (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus), four polio, three Hepatitis B, two MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and two doses of varicella (chickenpox) before the start of school.
North Nimishillen offers preschool for 3, 4, and 5 year olds (who are not of age to meet kindergarten entrance requirements). Morning and afternoon sessions are available. Classes are five days a week. If you have friends or family with a child who is of preschool age next year please share this with them. Please call the school office at 330.875.2661 today to come in and register!

Pop Tab Collections
The Nimishillen Grange is continuing to collect pop tabs for the Ohio State Grange Deaf and Hard of Hearing Committee.
